The conventional simple core barrel 46B is part of the B range. This one is used in the homogenous formations to extract samples in in situ testing.

You can choose among a large number of diameters from 46 to 146 mm. Four lengths exist for this type of drilling tools: 500, 1 000, 1 500 and 3 000 mm. We even offer core drilling heads alone.

The core barrel type B range is composed of fewer pieces and does not have an inner tube. The simple core barrel is more advantageous in terms of meters drilled than the double core barrel. Moreover, the cutting surface is smaller, which reduces the cost of use and increases the speed of the penetration.

Note: in homogeneous formations, the core does not keep well due to the absence of inner tube.
