Find out more about Technidrill tools for geotechnical and soil investigation. We offer complete ranges for drilling methods such as in situ tests, down the hole, rotary drilling, wireline and conventional core drilling. Our R&D department remains at your disposal for any tailor-made request.
For in-situ tests, Technidrill offers a full range of equipment dedicated to on-site soil investigation, including pressiometers (44 mm and 60 mm), Shelby sampling systems (101.6 mm and 88.9 mm), and dynamic cone penetrometers (Types 22 and 32).
These tools provide reliable measurements of soil resistance, compaction, and pressure, delivering essential field data for accurate geotechnical modeling.
The down-the-hole (DTH) drilling method is perfectly suited for rocky ground conditions. Technidrill supplies DTH hammers ranging from 2″ to 12″—including the TD Range and Mincon models—designed to perform with precision in extremely hard formations.
Thanks to their robust design, these tools ensure efficient and reliable penetration while maintaining a stable drilling trajectory.
Rotary drilling is ideal for loose or mixed soils. Technidrill provides a full selection of conventional HEX augers (sizes 21, 30, 41, 50, 60, 75), threaded augers (50Cr, API 2″3/8 or 2″7/8), and standard percussion rotary drill rods (diameters Ø 44.5 to Ø 140) with various thread types (AWJ, BWJ, IF, Regular, etc.). This method ensures fast and controlled drilling progress.
Wireline core drilling is particularly effective in geotechnical applications for deep sampling while minimizing drilling interruptions.
Technidrill offers a complete range of wireline core barrels, including models such as TCS 146, B‑WL, N‑WL, H‑WL, P‑WL, and GEOTECH S. The offering also includes Wireline drill rods (types A‑WL, B‑WL, H‑WL, NTW, and Heavy Duty) and EZY‑LATCH heads to facilitate efficient core recovery.
Finally, conventional core drilling rounds out this offering with robust, proven core barrels. Technidrill provides a wide range of core barrel models from 46B to 146B, including double tube versions such as T2, T6, and T6S, designed to enhance recovery rates and overall coring efficiency.
Conventional core drilling is ideal for shallow strata penetration with precision and reliability, especially in applications that require the entire drill string to be extracted during core recovery.
