The T6S core barrel range was initially designed to perform soil samples in very loose formations. The double core barrels are equipped with inner tubes formed with aluminum shells allowing a visual inspection without disturbing the sample before putting it in a box.

Technidrill suggests this type of conventional core barrel in diameters 101, 116, 131 mm. The head can be ordered alone.
This type of core barrel is especially recommended to drill in very fractured soils in which it is difficult to insert the core barrel into the inner tube.
The reaming shells are not included and the bits are with face discharge to better cool down the bits, which has a larger cutting surface than the T6 core barrel.
